Margaret Wertheim of the Institute for Figuring joined Dean Quinlan for an Essential Conversation on Feb. 25 in the Friends of the USC Libraries Lecture Hall. They discussed the intersections of science and art, the role of libraries in discovery and cross-disciplinary dialogue, and countless other topics. In this clip, Wertheim describes the origins of the IFF's wildly successful collaborative artwork, the Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef.
