Art Center Exhibition in Pasadena Features Items from USC Libraries’ Special Collections
Several rare items from the USC Libraries' Special Collections are featured in Pages, an exhibititon at the Williamson Gallery at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. The exhibit, writes Los Angeles Times reviewer Liesl Bradner, "focuses on the simple piece of refined pulp as a place for formal and finished ideas and a space for creativity."
Among the USC Libraries materials on display are a manuscript book by William of Ockham, a page with text by Charles Bukowski, and a copy of Bertolt Brecht's Die Kriegsfibel. They join materials from the Huntington Library, the Caltech Archives, and the Albert Einstein Archives.
The exhibit runs through January 27. It is open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays from noon to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from noon to 9:00 p.m.
