Celebrating 75 Years
On September 12, 1932, the Edward L. Doheny Jr. Memorial Library opened on the University of Southern California campus. For more than seven decades, it has served USC scholars as a repository of knowledge and critical thought.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the library. A host of special events are being planned to commemorate the historic gift that honors the memory of USC alumnus and trustee Edward L. Doheny Jr.
This is your location to view rarely seen images of Doheny Library, test your knowledge of the library’s history, and post your thoughts on the most important, influential, and entertaining books of the past 75 years.
Please check back throughout the year for information on events being planned as part of Doheny’s diamond jubilee.
